Privacy Policy

This policy covers information collected through the JP Salinger Realtors website. Real estate transactions outside this website may require separate notices and recordkeeping.
Notice at collection
We collect information directly from you when you submit an inquiry or privacy request: your name, email, optional phone number, property interest or request type, message, submission date, and consent choices. We use it to respond, provide requested real estate assistance, and manage privacy requests. Optional email marketing requires a separate, unchecked opt-in. Submitting an inquiry does not authorize marketing calls or texts.
Website inquiries and privacy requests are retained for up to two years from submission, then removed from this website database during routine cleanup. Records transferred into a real estate transaction may be subject to separate retention obligations. We keep dated permission choices with each submission. Do not submit government identifiers, banking details, health information or sensitive documents.
Visitor counting
We record aggregate page-load totals by date and page without saving your name, email, IP address, full referring URL, or browsing history in the visitor reporting database. Page-load totals count loads, not individual people.
Only if you choose “Allow counting cookie,” we set a random first-party browser identifier to estimate repeat and unique browsers. This optional cookie lasts up to one year. Browser records and dated browser counts are retained up to one year. Anonymous totals may be kept longer. We do not link your browser identifier to contact submissions. Cookie counts cannot identify everyone who visits; different browsers can belong to the same person.
Opt in or opt out
You can decline the optional counting cookie and still browse listings or send an inquiry. No optional counting identifier is set before you opt in. Use “Cookie choices” at any time to withdraw permission; declining removes this browser’s optional identifier and stops future identifier-based counting. Previous counts are not automatically erased.
Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track signals turn off optional browser counting, even if you previously allowed it. Anonymous aggregate page totals and necessary security processing continue. We do not use cross-site advertising tracking.
California privacy rights and choices
Where applicable under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you may request access to or a copy of your personal information, correction, deletion, opt-out of sale or sharing, and limits on certain uses of sensitive personal information. You may exercise applicable rights without discriminatory treatment and may use an authorized agent.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: This website does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. No advertising pixels, data-broker enrichment or targeted-advertising features are installed. We do not collect sensitive personal information for profiling. You may still submit an opt-out request below, and your browser’s GPC signal is honored.
To make a request, use the form below, email jsalinger50@gmail.com, or call 1-833-765-3577. We may need to verify your identity for access, correction or deletion, and an agent’s authority before releasing or changing records. We do not require an account to submit a request. We will respond under applicable requirements; exceptions may apply to records we must retain. The website owner reviews requests; submitting a request does not automatically delete records or email a response.
Outside services and security
OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare host and protect the website and store the website records. Those providers may process IP addresses, request details and security cookies under their own policies. IP addresses may be processed temporarily to enforce form submission limits; the website saves only a daily one-way hash for that purpose, retained no more than three days during routine cleanup.
Google Fonts receives technical requests when fonts load. Email and phone links use your email and telephone providers. Facebook and Instagram links take you to those platforms, which have their own practices. Website contact details are visible only through the brokerage owner’s protected dashboard and may be exported by the owner for requested follow-up. We do not automatically send your information to Facebook or other marketing services.
We use HTTPS, protect the owner dashboard with sign-in, restrict database access on the server, and limit form submissions. No system can guarantee complete security. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 16 or knowingly sell or share their information.
